Laura earned her BFA in acting from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied at the Experimental Theater Wing and Stonestreet Studios. She advanced her training with Terry Knickerbocker, completing his two-year Meisner intensive and business of acting program.

As an actor, she's been featured on The Daily Show and Chris Gethard Presents, as well as various indie shorts, including "Echelon," which won Best Narrative Short at the Lower East Side Film Festival.

As a writer/actor, her short film, Mr. Oberbeck, was selected by BFD Productions for their "Stay Indie" fellowship. She developed the short into a feature, pitched it at NYU LA Pitch fest, and it's currently in pre-production with some exciting actors attached.

Laura also wrote and performed a 50-minute solo show titled "LAURA." The performance was staged at The PIT, NY Winterfest, and to sold-out crowds at Annoyance Theater NY (a New York Times featured venue). It was featured in Broadway World and Timeout NY.

She was a resident at The Cabins Residency, where she co-wrote a pilot about senior citizens called "Oldsters."

Her favorite holiday is Shark Week, and she has run the New York City marathon too many times.
